General Information

Thanks for preparing to submit your event to ShowUp.com!

Please read our submission guidelines:

Location: Events must take place in the Greater Phoenix, Flagstaff or Metro Tucson regions. If your events take place around Arizona but outside these areas, and are arts and culture related, they may be submitted for listing on the “Around Arizona” page.
Lead Time: We request that events be submitted at least two to four weeks prior to the event's start date. If we receive your event info less than two weeks in advance, we cannot guarantee that your event will be posted.
ShowUp.com reserves the right to edit graphic images and submissions for grammar, style, and accuracy.
Public Events: All events must be open to the public. Invitation/member-only events will not be accepted.
Events Images: In order for your event to be considered for featuring, we must have an professional-quality promotional image to display with your listing. A single image may be uploaded along with your event listing. Images must be in .JPG format ONLY, and no larger than 1 megabyte. Depending on the size of your image and connection speed to the Internet, the upload process may take up to several minutes - please be patient. Once received, your image will be formatted for display.

You can also upload up to 5 addtional event images that will be featured in your image gallery. Gallery images should be formatted to 400 pixels wide by 400 pixels tall. Content Guidelines Policy

The promise of ShowUp.com is to provide a comprehensive calendar of the arts and cultural activities open to the public and taking place throughout the Greater Phoenix region, Flagstaff, the Metro Tucson area, and at select destinations around the State of Arizona. Thus, ShowUp.com is responsible to provide a wealth of content that encompasses a wide range of artistic expressions and serves the interests of a broad range of visitors.

The decision to post specific event information:

- Shall be based on an expectation of the presence of an artistic or cultural mission and/or artistic integrity.

- Shall not discriminate on the basis of subject matter or artists involved, including for reasons related to race, color, religion, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability or political point of view.

- May include information that contains mature themes, be sexually explicit and/or use strong language (except for events listed in the “kids & families” category) where it is integral to the artistic integrity of the work being represented.

- May exclude slurs, epithets and hateful comments.

In all instances, the authority to make decisions related to content on ShowUp.com belongs to the Executive Director of Alliance for Audience. (Policy approved by the Alliance for Audience Board of Directors, August 2005)
