Joseph Benesh

About the artist: Joseph has been in the valley for 11 years now. He worked all over the vally from Planet Earth to Theatre Works to Childsplay before returning, a few years ago, to school and finishing his degree at ASU. Joseph currently works at Phoenix Theatre as the Assistant General Manager. He is also cultivating his passion for directing. His key focus in directing is two fold, both theatre for youth and original work. Theatre for youth allows an expression of fun and bold creativity while the original work generally allows him to explore the darker side of human nature. He is part-founder of a very new theatre company: Westborne Ensemble, which will primarily produce original work. Joseph also enjoys set design, lighting design, and acting when time permits.
