    08/22/11- 12/31/12	Many Mexicos: Vistas de la Frontera University of Arizona - Museum of Art Many Mexicos: Vistas de la Frontera Presented by University of Arizona - Museum of Art at University of Arizona - Museum of Art August 22, 2011-December 31, 2012 In the exhibit Many Mexicos Vistas de la Frontera, 300 objects illustrate 3,000 years of varied Mexican histories. Come see a Maya ritual corn vessel, Spanish colonial retablos, Santa Anna's sword and uniform, Maximilian's ring and Carlota's brooch, and a sombrero that may well have belonged to Pancho Villa.
    07/29/11- 05/15/13	The Pottery Project University of Arizona - Museum of Art The Pottery Project Presented by University of Arizona - Museum of Art at University of Arizona - Museum of Art July 29, 2011-May 15, 2013 Explore the art of the pottery and the science of the archaeologist as Arizona State Museum celebrates 2,000 years of Native pottery making traditions in the Southwest.
    09/04/08- Ongoing	Fernando Gallego and His Workshop - The Altarpiece from Ciudad Rodrigo University of Arizona - Museum of Art Fernando Gallego and His Workshop - The Altarpiece from Ciudad Rodrigo Presented by University of Arizona - Museum of Art at University of Arizona - Museum of Art September 4, 2008 - Ongoing The 26 panels from the altarpiece of Ciudad Rodrigo comprise one of the most important groups of paintings produced in late 15th-century Spain by the artists Fernando Gallego and Master Bartolome (the latter virtually unknown, until now) and their workshops. Such "master painters" often commanded large, dynamic workshops with many apprentice artists and frequently joined together on monumental commissions like this cathedral altarpiece.

Dr. Jenkins examines this time capsule of the Southwest and northern Mexico from the late 1930's to the late 1960's.
