Arizona State Museum
The Arizona State Museum is the state's official archaeological repository and is the largest non-federal intake facility in the nation. Due to its high influence, the museum also issues permits for archaeological and paleontological projects across the state. In addition to its various archaeological research projects, the museum hosts researchers from around the world who use the collections to expand the frontiers of knowledge in archaeology, ethnology and history.
