DeGrazia Gallery In The Sun

A National Historic District, DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun was designed and built by acclaimed Arizona artist Ted DeGrazia, who was born in 1909 in the Morenci mining camp of Territorial Arizona. The 10-acre foothills site is open daily for visitors to explore the gallery, gift shop, cactus courtyard, and the adjacent Mission in the Sun, artist's home, and grave.

    Way of the Cross DeGrazia Gallery In The Sun Way of the Cross Presented by DeGrazia Gallery In The Sun at DeGrazia Gallery In The Sun January 20-April 15, 2012 The annual exhibit of DeGrazia's dramatic interpretation of the traditional Stations of the Cross also includes the resurrection of Jesus. The artist created these 15 original oil paintings for the Catholic Newman Center at the University of Arizona in 1964 where they were displayed for about a year. DeGrazia then replaced the originals with prints because of insurance and environmental concerns at the Center.
