The University of Arizona Museum of Art announces a retrospective exhibition of renowned glass artist Ana Thiel. Ana Thiel: Layer of Being - A Thirty Year Retrospective is not your typical retrospective. It encompasses three countries: Mexico, United States and Belgium. Tucson is proud to be the U.S. venue; each location features different aspects of the artist's work. What is constant is the sense of exploration, the connection to nature, and a poetic inspiration that Ana Thiel brings to her art.
Additional Information: Exhibition Reception and Artist Walk is on Friday, February 18 at 5:00pm. As part of the opening reception Ana Thiel will present a walking tour of the exhibition.
