Artwork of Carol Ann Miraben
January 2-January 31, 2011
In 1994 Carol Ann Miraben was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had been a workaholic striver in the high tech industry for 25 years. Grueling 80+ hour weeks and relentless travel had taken their toll. To survive treatments, she vowed to do something for mherself and it would be fun! It had been so long that she didn't know what fun meant. But she love water and she love color and she has always loved art. That added up to watercolor classes. She couldn't stop painting! Her style has changed over time. From realistic watercolors, to semi-abstract florals and landscapes, to her current non-objective interpretations. Fifteen years later, She paint what she care about. She strive again - strive to express, to interpret, to share her feelings. Her paintings must have emotion and they must have heart.
