    Tucson Rodeo Parade Museum

Presented by Tucson Rodeo Parade Museum at Tucson Rodeo Parade Museum

    January 4-April 17, 2010

Tucson Rodeo Parade Museum inventory includes 150 vehicles, ranging from small Buggies, Wagons, Surries, Coaches and Historic artifacts from pioneer days and a re-created Western Main Street representing what early Wild West Tucson would have looked like and what it offered in terms of businesses and services. A tour (about 1.5 Hours) will include seeing many, but not all, of the vehicles. The Tucson Rodeo Parade Museum was PBS's Antiques Roadshow feature Museum in 2007. There are also displays of 1890s western town and one of the largest displays of horse-drawn carriages, coaches, wagons and buggies. The famous Maximilian and Carlotta carriage made under Napoleon's orders in the 1860s is but one of the great displays. Others made by Studebaker, John Deere, Brewster, etc. and used by John Wayne, Ava Gardner, Maureen O'Hara, Andrew Carnegie, etc. are but some of the 125 on display.
