The Tucson Symphony Orchestra is pleased to present the world premiere of composer Stephen Paulus' new work, "Dylan Thomas Songs." The evening will feature George Hanson, Music Director and Conductor of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Mr. Paulus, soprano Elizabeth Futral accompanied by Paula Fan, TSO principal keyboard, and University of Arizona Distinguished Professor of English, Susan Hardy Aiken, who will offer insight into Dylan Thomas' life and work. Acclaimed composer Stephen Paulus, has created "Dylan Thomas Sings" for soprano and orchestra. The intriguing piece features three of the beloved Welsh poet's best-known works. The piece will also be performed by one of today's most in-demand sopranos, Elizabeth Futral. Important Information: There will be free parking after 5:00pm in any of the Zone 1 lots or spaces surrounding the Helen S. Schaefer Building. Paid parking is also available in the Highland Avenue garage directly across from the building.
