Native Grace Abounds at Sanctuary Season Premiere
September 12, 2009
Come and celebrate the beginning of LAVA's newest venue, Abounding Grace Sanctuary. Grammy Nominees, Native American Music Award winners, and Canyon Records recording artists, Mary Redhouse and Will Clipman, take the audience on an intimately adventurous sonic journey that features Mary's ethereal yet earthy five-octave vocals and masterful multi-instrumentalism on Native American flutes, bass, keyboards, and guitar, impeccably partnered with Will's exotic and melodic deep-pocket grooves on djembe, udu, frame drum, hang drum, bodhran, and assorted hand and foot percussion, resulting in a fresh, funky, and subtly sophisticated sound that can only be described as "global native fusion.
