Ben McCartney Guitar

Pima Community College Performing Arts Department presents Ben McCartney in a faculty classical guitar recital. The program includes JS Bach's "Prelude" from Suite No. 1 for Solo Violincello, F. Tarrega's "Capricho Arabe," J. Turina's "Hommage a Tarrega," I. Albeniz's "Leyenda" and M. Guiliani's "Grande Overture." McCartney has taught guitar at three major universities and he is currently the director of guitar studies at Pima Community College's West Campus. As a recitalist, McCartney has performed throughout the western hemisphere, covering the continental United States, Brazil, Venenzuela, Cuba and Central Europe.
