Animal Farm
September 10-September 27, 2009
An exciting new adaptation by Andrew Periale gives us a fresh look at George Orwell's classic story of rebellion and assimilation. When the animals decide that they can run the farm better than the farmers who keep them, they set out to create a utopian world in which everyone is equal. Except that some are more equal than others. In a world where the political pendulum is constantly swinging, this is a fascinating cautionary tale about ambition, power and the importance of skepticism. Helpful Information: Pre-show entertainment by the cast of Animal Farm begins 15 minutes before curtain. Season tickets available. Please Note: The Rogue Theatre will be hosting a special "Grand Opening Celebration" on Friday, September 11. Please see website for more information.
