    In a benefit performance for Access Tucson and KXCI 91.3FM, Amy Goodman of Democracy Now!(DN!) will give a speech on her latest work along with a booksigning to follow. Goodman is celebrating the 13th year of DN! and touring in support of her latest and third book: Standing Up to the Madness - Ordinary Heroes in Extraordinary Times, written with her brother, investigative journalist David Goodman. Standing Up to the Madness tells the stories of everyday citizens who have challenged the government and prevailed-and also offers advice on what individuals can do to help. Democracy Now! is a national, daily, independent, award-winning news program hosted by journalists Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez. Pioneering the largest public media collaboration in the U.S., Democracy Now! is broadcast on over 700 media outlets. Doors open at 5:00pm. All proceeds to benefit Access Tucson and Tucson's community radio station KXCI 91.3FM.
