This memory play, written by the great comic playwright Neil Simon and set in 1942, begins as two young sons are deposited on the doorstep of their stern, tough grandma. Their aunt Bella is a sweet but mentally slow and highly excitable woman who proves to be the lynchpin of this funny, moving coming-of-age drama.
